Art for Early Spring Foggy Mornings
Pulling today's subject line from a Lauren Portada artwork title, enjoy these thoughtful pieces over your morning cup of coffee
Good morning and happy Friday! I am so excited to share this next batch of artwork as I have linked each artist’s Instagram profiles to allow further exploration of their practices. I was recently asked in an interview whether I worry that collectors might bypass my advisory after reading about artists in my newsletter. The answer is a resounding no!
Anyone can discover an artist on Instagram or by walking into a gallery or touring an art fair: my Substack was created with the mission of sharing a curated selection of artists. I encourage discovery across all platforms, and it is through collaborations and shared resources that we can optimize exposure to and support of contemporary artists.
Working with an art advisor goes far beyond a first encounter with a piece on Instagram or in a newsletter. My clients understand the long-term value of thoughtful and intentional guidance to building an art collection. This is why education is at the heart of my advisory practice, and why nearly every newsletter includes an open invitation to ask questions and engage with the artists featured.
With that, I leave you with the following artworks to ask me about!
